Shard shops closed at night? Bribe the night guards! 12/11/2016 07:44 PM CST
Love that you can bribe the night attendants to let you into Shard's shops after they've closed now. Donno how I missed this development (unless it was ninja). Perfect for late night runestones purchases.

It was my understanding that the 2015 post was for citizens only. Not going to bug it because the messaging sounds like it might be a new feature. I'm a non-citizen and was able to bribe on my own.

[Shard, Sapphire Avenue]
The lane sweeps in a clean angle northeast and southwest. A curious, ramshackle two-story building juts like a growth waiting to be lanced amongst the other residentials. Something shadowy and heavy hangs from the shop's darkened porch, and a strange, ghostly clicking floats through the air around it, sounding for all the world like some spectre rattling its fingerbones to scare off unwanted guests.
Obvious paths: northeast, southwest, northwest.
>go build
>go build
The shop appears to be closed, but you catch the attention of a night attendant inside, and he says, "I'm sorry, I can only allow citizens in at night."
He pauses, then quietly says, "Just for you,
I'd look the other way for 2500 Dokoras."
[GO again to bribe the night attendant to let you inside.]
The attendant says, "Fine. 2501 Dokoras, please."
You hand over the coins, and the attendant allows you past.

A stray wind rattles the bones on the porch as you pass.

[Sierack's Reagents, Showroom]
Bones hang from the ceiling by lengths of twine, clicking against one another as the taller customers make their way through the aisles. Bottles, jars, and beakers filled with strange and undefinable objects have been piled precariously on the shelves beside grimoires, talismans, cambrinth balls, and other magical devices. Amidst the cluttered showroom sits the eccentric Sierack, surveying his shop with a narrowed and territorial expression on his face. You also see the merchant Sierack and a high counter with a catalog on it.
Obvious exits: out.

Citizens get in free. Non-citizens can bribe their way into some shops.
