What is the deal with dying in the shalswar at Raven's point? You depart and end up at Raven's point, but the gate doesnt open at night, so you cant get out of raven's point and you lose all your stuff. You cant even gweth for help. I am not happy about his.

There is a back entrance to Raven's point through the crystalline gorge that goes around through the edge of the dragon priest territory opening up right in the shalswar area.

Getting to Raven's point from shard is easy for me. I can take a ranger trail right there, but I died in Shalswars. I am in town. The gate to get out of Ravens point is closed at night (except for thieves). I can't get out of town to get to my grave, which is in Shalswars.

I know. If you take a breath (I know your situation is frustrating) and re-read my post you will see that I'm saying that there is a second way to get to where you want to go from inside Raven's Point. Head out the northern gate of Raven's Point (it is not locked ever, even at night) and find the path around through the dragon priest area.

And just in case, DEPART ITEMS costs an extra favor but saves you having to get to your grave.

This should not be a line that has to be thrown in every time after someone needs help getting their items back.
People ALWAYS throw this in as an extra post.
Departing with a grave should be removed from the game. It adds nothing to the environment or play, but DOES cause extreme frustration due to oddities such as the OP showed.

For a game to be fun there has to be a challenge to overcome, but there is a difference between challenge and annoyance. What would you replace graves with to insure death doesn't lose it's sting, or what little sting it has left.

DR bills you $10 every death, given that's how losing items in graves you can't get back to essentially works these days.
Uzmam! The Chairman will NOT be pleased to know you're trying to build outside of approved zones. I'd hate for you to be charged the taxes needed to have this place re-zoned. Head for the manor if you're feeling creative.

Hi,
Death mechanics isn't a discussion for this folder.
Kindly find the correct one (Surviving in DragonRealms > On Death) and post your constructive suggestions there.
