Is it just me or does "NOBODY" really hunt routinely on hara'jaal anymore? This place used to be the bomb diggity, the great escape to good training and solitude, kinda like Mriss++, now its a ghost town.

I have a few ideas that can help liven this place back up but can maintain that atmosphere of "roughing it".

1) baitshop somewhere in town (unless one is placed on Mriss. there's already an origami shop on Mriss ::wink:: so a baitshop there would suffice)

2) shallow water hunting area in river boas, that you can make full use of range weapons in. I suggest the top 6-9 rooms of the river be reduced to something more comparable to vipers/serpents in Riverhaven, maybe with the same room mechanics for ranged but a slightly higher swimming requirement. The rest of boas is fine as far as swimming difficulty scaling goes for training swimming.

3) increased number of climbables, more overlap of the skillrange of the climbables. Mainly the 180-350 range is lacking, unless someone knows of stuff that closes the gap between the grasses/cypress and the lava chute (thinking undergondola levels here).

4) increased gen rate + critters migrating towards the players ala storm bulls. higher spawn for single hunter present, especially in swains, boars and arzumos.

Come to think of it, the bar/tavern should be genning pirates like the Kree'la(at the same rate), not swains. I never understood why there were swains of all things on hara instead of pirates. Unless Hara is heavily S'kra area like Ratha?

What would really be cool is multiple levels of the Baron's estate spawning different levels/types of pirates or corsairs, comparable to the way orcs scale in Rossmans.

5) overhaul for Arzumos. They really need to teach perception better locking perception at the same ranks they teach defenses, with a similar soft cap),skinning I feel should be more on par with Adan'f difficulty, and their claws need their damage reduced. These hit WAY harder than caracals do (and damage shields), and they are a lower level critter. The risk vs reward is totally out of whack.

6)stealable shops. the penalty for being caught can just be the same as being caught fighting the corsairs.

Anywho, these are just a couple thoughts I've mulled over for a few months. Hopefully someone still reads this folder! ;)
