I really dig the Affiliations that exist, but can't help but wish we had a lot more options. Identifying a home clan or declaring yourself a Rose Maiden Cultist, for example, would be wonderful, and with some mechanical integration at the same or a higher level of integration than citizenship would really set people apart. It'd be really fun if this were a separated from citizenship, so that you could identify a home place that you can't change, possibly have some nifty titles or access to minor shops for that, a citizenship one, with similar benefits, and then something to identify causes that you support, similar to the MM sects.

You could identify yourself as a Pethian from Horse Clan, citizen of Zoluren, and have matching fluff/titles to match.

Or you could just use it to be Sneak Sss'nakey ThheSss'kra, a S'kra Thief of the Ru'atin Periel, born of Sraan T'Lar, citizen of Ratha. Have no item in your inventory showing that's a word people understand. And hiss every ss'ingle word.

Or, in the very least, I wouldn't mind every single Preferred Location listed in profiles having their own individual citizenship.
