Now and again I wonder about all the wrecked barricades, onagers, catapults, and completely destroyed posters the world over. Is there a reason these things just stay there for years and years after their related events?

Nostalgia? The trade routes are particularly thick with remnants of area expansions, wars, and events... Elanthia looks a little post-apocalyptic out there.

There is many more events than just this that have left Elanthia a little less pretty. The most recent being the years Lyras ravaged the entire continent, and the HE events that had both the Greater and Lesser Fist erupting, destroying a MM guild and darkening the sky for months, along with a Godspawn running around with killer moths that blinded you and sucked your soul out.

Elanthia is in a constant state of apocalypse.

I'd like to see the Elpalzi, Adan'f and Orcs take all those leftover siege engines and barricades, repair them and show the provinces why it's not a good idea to leave military equipment scattered around.
