Tuskies - Boar Clan 01/04/2011 08:18 PM CST
Any chance we can have a separate area with tuskies or have them appear more regularly?

IIRC these are intentionally a rarer spawn given the lore behind them.

There was an interesting discussion on altering tusky lore in the creature folders a while back. These three short posts brought up an interesting idea:

Sound interesting? Or DOA?

A raven flies into the area.

The raven swoops down in front of you and with its hoarse ominous voice, utters a large croaking "Kraak".

The raven lands at your feet, taps your footwear with its beak and engages you with its black, intelligent eyes. You feel certain that it is warning you about something or someone.

A raven flies northeast.

You ponder.

Interesting, thanks for letting me know. They are a great trainer for 750 plus so thought I would ask for some more.

Anyone give me a hint on where to find the lore on tuskies...now that my interest is flamed so to speak.

From their description:
Only the biggest, baddest boars are chosen to serve as the official mascot of the Gor'Tog clan that takes its name from the ferocious creature.

Not sure if there's any other info on them.

Exactly. The idea we were working on was they bred only the biggest, baddest tuskies to be team mascots.

They only needed one mascot at a time, which is what we see in the current playing field. But they might have had a ranch full of breeding pairs, always in search of yet an even bigger, badder tusky. That's what could be converted to an undead hunting ground, along with the graveyard idea.

If not a ranch, then it could be the forest where they dwelled, from which the biggest, baddest tuskies were captured. That part of their origin is just special effect.
