Can they work on iced floors? My guess is that ice floors are now coded to prevent all types of mounted travel, but I know flying mounts are sometimes exceptions to the rule (like some water areas, for example).

I can tell you from first hand knowledge they do not help when it comes to the ice road. You have to dismount.

I should have clarified.

The "can they" was more "can they please be allowed to do this, since they currently don't."
