Mud in Apes 06/13/2012 04:15 PM CDT
Does anyone know if this is actually working correctly? I've been digging and digging for a while, and can't move (I know I can hunt to move, this just seems buggy).

I> dig
You struggle to dig off the thick mud caked around your legs.
Roundtime: 10 seconds

The Wayerd pyramid emits a low humming noise as the sun's rays shine down on it.

You manage to dig enough mud away from your legs to assist your movements.
Roundtime: 6 seconds.
IR> northwest
You make no progress in the mud -- mostly just shifting of your weight from one side to the other.

Maybe you can dig or pry your way out of this mess somehow.

[Paasvadh Forest, Understory]
Grease-clotted sticky black mud lies thickly on the stony ground and a dark mist hangs from the trees. Moisture drips sluggishly from unseen sources and everything feels cold and clammy to the touch.
You also see a battered Wayerd pyramid, a battered Wayerd pyramid and an ebonwood tree.
Obvious paths: north, northwest.

A loud roar fills the air as a black ape leaps into the area.

A black ape digs into the earth for a moment before letting out a happy grunt upon finding an old bone!

Hm, try "dig leg"? That's what I always use, rather than "dig".

Either way it should not be telling you that you've cleared enough to move when really you haven't.

I don't think that is working right, but I haven't been stuck in there yet.

One trick I heard was to try and hunt out of the room, if that happens.

yeah the mud has been broken for as long as I have been hunting there... two tricks... either hunt out of the room... or let an ape advance to melee... if you retreat all the way you should be able to move to the next room... I've never been able to dig my way out... also, if you hunt with a partner you can drag them.

I'm really hoping these get 'fixed' (IE neutered) when 3.0 rolls out and no longer use escaping.
