As far as I'm aware there's always been minor in-game perks in some form to those who attend simucon, so this isn't anything new and is fine by me. I also take into consideration that attendees are paying hotel and travel costs on top of the $25 too, so I say good on them for having a way of saying thank you for spending a thousand dollars to come visit us in person.
Orders for shirts or coffee mugs or other things that need to be pre-ordered should be done by this coming Saturday - but goodie bags will be available until 7/10/19.
Hopefully another year, you'll be able to attend in person!
