Heyo i'm slotted for the big war in august of next year i start training in May. Can anyone tell me what to expect. It will be my second deployment but i think it will be a little different than guarding the prisoners in Camp Delta, Cuba...

I'd say what you can expect will depend heavily on what your MOS is and what your mission is. If your in a Personnel Support Battallian and your mission is to support one FOB, then you can probably expect to sit on that FOB alot. If your a Cav Scout, expect to go on a lot of convoys. Of course, I'm just slated for my first deployment here in December. Luckily, I'm in a PSB, and like the military norm, we have no idea what our mission is going to be.
