Holy cow they let me fly an F-15E Strike Eagle from the front seat! Even got clearance for a 'quick climb'. That is I pushed it up to MAX AB took off, climbed very slowly while I accelerated to 400knots, 4G pull to 60 degrees nose high and like a rocket up to 8,000ft roll inverted and pull down to catch 10,000ft on the level off. Whoa. If I do good on my next flight they'll let me fly with my assigned student WSO (weapon systems officer) in the back seat instead of an instructor pilot. That'll be fun. Of course, she will literally be trusting me with her life... I can do it.
