Hope everyone from VA to NJ or higher that wound up dealing with Sandy survived the experience and is okay. For my part, I was lucky to only get some minor tree and fence damage. I hope everyone else also had just minor or no damage.

It was supposed to be worse, but we hardly had anything very nasty. Some of my family in NJ only were out of power for a few hours. It seems we're through the worse.

I hope everyone's doing well out there though.

I live in Long Beach NY, the whole city is devastated. We lost power, sewage and water. The damage is well crazy. We had 3-5 feet of water through the city, it will take weeks just to get power back and I don't know how we will come back.

check in from NJ shore...the entire coast is gone...some entire towns washed away or buried in 3 to 6 foot of sand....power back here after 3 days
