Frostbite front-end 03/12/2013 06:29 PM CDT
Don't shoot me if it is against the rules to promote here but here goes.

I don't know if anyone ever reads this topic at all considering the date of the last post but i would like to take up on this opportunity and promote the new game client i have been working on.

It's a basic indie game client with a fully functional GUI and scripting support.

The reason i started working on this game client is that I'm a big fan of the Wizard front-end however as some of you might have noticed, the 1980s technologies that the old Wizard has been built upon are not cutting it anymore. I was getting tired of the entire screen going yellow or the fact that i was not able to run the client in full screen on my secondary monitor (among other issues).

One of the reasons I'm reaching out is that I'm looking for some help to complete my work. This client is completely reverse-engineered by in my own perspective and I'm afraid that some of the game messages might not appear correctly. Namely the ones that i have not been able to produce myself as a non magic user for example. If there is anyone out there interested and capable to providing such help, that would be much appreciated (or just willing to help, i can always provide the instructions).

The client currently includes the following features:
- macros
- text highlighting
- ruby based scripting
- other functional features

What I'm still looking to implement:
- logging
- body dragging mechanics
- more configurable client settings
- expand on scripting API
- build for Linux

The client is completely free and open source. It currently only runs on Windows because of some design decisions for scripting implementation but it is technically possible to expand to other op systems as well.

The client comes already installed with some basic settings, example scripts, couple of profiles for more light based colors and dark colors -- this can of course all be reconfigured in the client.

Also any kind of feedback is welcome but bear in mind that this client is focused towards simplicity and will probably never include many of the more advanced features. And i work so slow that in Dragonrealms terms it will make "soon" look like yesterday.
