I am hoping there will be some DR playres that decide to attend!
Volfe, Celeerial, and myself were down in New Orleans last weekend to site hotels for NOCon and they are all very nice! What we are running into though, is that a meeting room may be the way to go instead of a suite as our gathering point. Would a meeting room, available the entire time we are there work? The Queen & Crescent(http://www.queenandcrescenthotel.com/indexhigh.html) has offered us a great deal but they are actually 3 blocks from the French Quarter. The St Ann(http://www.stannmarieantoinette.com/) is in the French quarter and has offered us close to the same deal.
My question is this, would a meeting room available the whole time work instead of a suite? Y'all let me know what ya think. I want to sign the contract and get registration opened up by Saturday!
