Saphy was a genuinely kind soul. I did not know her well and only met her recently under somewhat trying circumstances. She handled every hardship with class and grace. No one was a stranger and she always had a smile and a friendly word for anyone who came across her. It was a genuine honor to know her, even for so brief a time.
