Alright... here's the low down for all you LOTR fans... I dunno if this happened in other states but it certainly happened here in Oregon and it looks like it shoulda happened in every other state based on the list on lordoftherings.net

Here's the deal... tickets for the marathon showing went on sale today... in ONE theater in my ENTIRE state. They went on sale at 10:30 am at the theater and Fandago and were sold out within 15 minutes despite the date but not the time being announced on the website. PLEASE if you support the LOTR fanbase or had this happen to you as well go to www.lordoftherings.net and click on send feedback and tell them that they need to have more showings as this is a crime against the fan base as well as a economical disaster for them. BTW tickets were $35 apparently.

Don't let this happen, show New Line just how crazy of a fan base we are (And hope STUPID this move of theirs is!)
