With the start of the month, many of you have logged in and seen that lovely "NEW NEWS ITEMS" message. If you've checked it out, you'll see that it's just the Orders of Elanthia and their events for the month. If you've not seen it already, you can always type NEWS 4 10 at anytime in the game and check it out. This is the best method to use to check dates, times, changes, cancellations, whatever for all Order events in Elanthia.
That said, the Tavern Troupe has got a few things going on for the month of July and I thought it would be a good idea to talk about them here so that folks can know what's going on. If you were at the recent Zoluren Town Hall Meeting held by the Order of the White Rose, you might have heard me mention these; but if you were not, then here ya go!
*July 7, 2014 - 10:00 PM Eastern - Pajama Party.*
Not all parties need themes, but often we find them better when they do have one. As such, the theme for this party is obviously nightwear. That's right, the Tavern Troupe is asking you to wear your pajamas outside of your home and come join in the fun with us at the Arthe Hollow Inn. (the site of many legendary parties and gatherings) There will be a gift, as always, and even some prizes for folks who show up in the "Best Pajama Wear"
*July 11, 2014 - 10:00 PM Eastern - Aayveia and Dahaita's 100th Circle Bash.*
I'm, personally, always thrilled when anyone reaches this milestone in their guild advancement. It means that they're officially halfway to reaching the end of the road as far as guilds in Elanthia goes. So, if they want a party to celebrate, the Tavern Troupe is happy to provide. All are welcome to attend and help us congratulate these two on a job well done, also to encourage them to keep going! Obviously there will be lots of drinks, but there will also be a fun gift to commemorate the occasion.
*July 14, 2014 - 10:00 PM Eastern - Masquerade Ball.*
Once again, the Tavern Troupe invades the lovely Raven's Court Building in Crossings with the intent to hold a night of drinks, socializing and dancing. Costumes are highly encouraged; but if you don't want to change your whole wardrobe, I suppose a mask will work just fine. However there will be a costume contest during the Ball, so dress to impress and you could find yourself winning a prize. If you missed the Princess' Trust Dinner, this would be a good opportunity to come over and sample some of the new drinks and eats.
*July 31, 2014 - 9:00 PM Eastern - Rising Star Talent Search.*
And for our final event, the Tavern Troupe proudly presents the Rising Star Talent Search. It's not too late for folks to sign up for this, so if you've got a talent you'd like to show off; Speak to Kasto or Bellicia in the game to get yourself added to the list. You can also go ahead and click the "email author" link and contact Kasto that way also. It's important to note that this is for talents and is not limited to just singing, dancing, or playing music. This will be our theater event for the month, so if you're interested in participating but have never interacted with the theater mechanics; don't worry. We'll show you how it works and make sure you're comfortable with it all before show time.
