Does anyone have any tips or suggestions on how detailed an Order's crest needs to be?

Also, what are the general guidelines for the form the badge/insignia may take?

SECTION 3.6 A detailed explanation of the insignia, or badge of membership, worn by the members of the Order will be supplied with each application.

Well, this is ours.

Banner:
a banner depicting a furious dragon trying to claw its way out of a golden shield.

Badge
Inlaid beneath a polished finish, the image gives the illusion of being trapped within. With ebony scales and deep ruby eyes, the dragon stands poised ready to strike with it's maw frozen in a timeless howl of rage. A delicate script surrounds the creature.
There appears to be something written on it.
A golden shield badge reads:
"Many Swords, One Shield."
