In light of the recent telescope tweak, interest in crafted telescopes, particularly crafted clockwork telescopes has bloomed. They don't appear to benefit or suffer from use of one material over another.

Is there mechanical support for different types of wood or different ductilities of mechanisms used in crafted telescopes to affect how they perform? Or are crafted telescopes just set to a static quality no matter what materials are used?

I'd noticed this as well in my testing with the clockwork telescopes. Across a wide variety of woods, and even various mechanism ductility values, I didn't see any differences in their quality via STUDY. I get that it may be a small range that isn't observable with the level of granularity of the scale used for the STUDY, if that's the case, but it does seem a bit strange that variety of wood wouldn't have any impact on performance.

Though, really, a big thanks for making the craftable ones better than the B&E ones so that there's interest in 'em!
