as i have one of these for my "custom" title <experiemnter>, i agree! although my first choice, which is one of them on your list <scientist> was rejected as not being in "genre". Although I do have a trader-only embroidery pattern which specifically mentions mad scientists, particularly in regard to my guild of choice :-). And I notice this pattern is still sold this hollows eve, it could be argued that yes, indeed, it is in-genre. It is sold in "which stitch is witch" i believe.
