I noticed that forging was taking about twice as long to lock as normal and started investigating. Digging through my logs and doing some testing I came up with on average it took ~23 seconds/mindstate. This was making bronze sieves (challenging) at 570 forging on 5-1-18. By the 5-15 I had 573 ranks and was up to 48 seconds/mindstate with no change in ingots or template.

Things I tried that resulted in no statistical change in seconds/mindstate
•Moved to steel alloy (58 workability v 70)
•Changed to a larger volume template
•I picked up some techs and tried hard work order

What finally let me get back to ~10 minutes to lock was changing to weaponsmithing (in bronze, challenging orders).

I don't know what's wrong with Hanryu and blacksmithing, but for hundreds of ranks I was always able to lock in 10 minutes or so, but now I'm a weapon smith I guess?
