Anyone forged any kiralan armor yet? Wondering how if it is basically vardite with better elemental protection or what.

I got the 40 vol in Plat's auction and trying to decide what to do with it. Was thinking a mail lorica (chain) so wondered how kiralan vs vardite stats compared. Like if kiralan is basically the same but with better elemental protection or if the 0.9 density difference made its protection points higher.
