is there a rank i should wait for in forging before I move up from apprentice to journeyman books..... I have 103 in forging at the moment, but the forging master still gives out hard work in apprentice book. so do I wait until the forging master wants a weapon from that book?

Ok thanks I figured that but just about every weapon in apprentice book gives the

"You peruse the weapon instructions and completely understand all facets of the design."

so was wondering. was not sure if you learned better with a lesser understanding of instructions

It's possible you're ready to move up a difficulty tier before the society master thinks you are, but you won't be able to force them to give you more difficult workorders before you gain enough ranks. If you're having trouble learning, use a metal with lower workability (e.g. switch from bronze to steel).
