Wondered if a GM can give a view on the Punka Hide Leather, and the armor it makes?
Basically, reinforcing it makes no difference at all to the protection - Is that intended? Thanks!

I haven't had a go at a shield, as apparently the elemental protection it offers is wasted
As a side note, I noticed a helmet actually offers a different swing on the app - Different template offering different balances across the numbers

Reinforcing of punka leather armor? From the looks of the appraisal on that you are looking at an armor that is already at max. Tier 6+ or even close to 8. I know for a fact that the ranger beseech called beseech elanthia to petrify will not raise one stat on that armor, which is because its already at max. That probably means that reinforcing the armor will not do anything additional as it cant be improved past the max for the armor itself. I suspect this is what you are seeing with this armor.
The only difference between this armor and say Capped quest armor is this has higher elemental defenses and what you improve with reinforcing is the physical defenses, which again I suspect are already at max.

Reinforcing always increases the stats, but it will not always be visible in the appraise due to the ranges spanning multiple integer values.
