Is there anyway we can maybe get a pre-study of instructions before destroying them just to see whether or not we can actually make the item? That we we don't absolutely waste them to study so we can get a 4/5 on the study? then waste both time, money (RL), and materials because now we have just wasted everything to see if we can make them?

If this is the same person from Discord, they play in TF and TF characters aren't copied over to TEST. It also requires an up-to-date copy of your character in TEST with both the plans and mats with a similar workability.
