Can we simplify the crafting process? 11/28/2019 09:46 AM CST
Here's what I'm thinking.

New item: Workbench.
> Look workbench:
You see all the necessary supplies to complete your project, with identified slots to carefully position each tool.

> Look on workbench:
You see no tools on the work bench.

> Put bellows on workbench:
You put your bellows on the workbench.

Look on workbench: You see [type] bellows.
... repeat for all tools.

> Study armorsmithing book
... same as today

> Use workbench
You begin using the workbench to assmeble your product
Roundtime: ###

### = time to complete 10 steps with the tools, action calculation same as today. Lore primes would shave 25% of the crafting time off, for using the work bench, for the same tools. Lore terts would get a 25% time penalty, assuming all steps were taken. Secondaries are neutral. Terts can dabble, but primes are the ones who really excel at using fancier setups.

For enchanting; It requires a loop, fount, base material, burin, and all sigils required to make the enchant.
For forging: same, replacing fount with oil and sigils with ingots and secondary components.
... for all crafts.
