It would be nice if players in-game could be a part of the development of a specified location. My first thought is to begin construction on a new palace for the Prince and Princess of Zoluren. After hearing the herald call for workers, players would go to the construction site and perform a menial task like stack brick or mix grout. This event might take a week or so to give time to collect construction points. There is no cash payment but task totals could be recorded to offer up a pin or something once it is complete. Afterwords we can have the long awaited coronation with all the fanfare. Thanx, X

They've done that in the past.

After a bit most players figured out these projects don't do anything. Some people still participate for the look of it, but there's no backing to track/contribute/etc. It's just wheel spinning, and the project gets released when the GMs can spare the time to do the event.

Rarely do things change in the world. It's quite sad. The world would feel more alive if every 20 IG years or so -anything- would change.
