Is there anyway to earn kernels on one account and use them to by biomechanical spiders for other accounts? Kernels appear to be bound and so are spiders. Am I missing something?

sorry to say you are not missing anything, its been repeatedly stated both when those items were at HE (the 1st year of item) & when added to CM that they bind to the character that gets them. Kernels were basically handled the same way as most other tickets, they bind to the character that earned them.
