Several notices have been tacked to the walls of Temples, churches, and Guildhalls around the major cities of Kermoria. They read:

My Brothers, Sisters, and Fellow Guildsmen,

Necromancy is a blight upon our land. The practitioners of this evil and unholy art would see to the destruction of all for the sake of their own personal ambition. Necromancy ravaged the West. It decimated our people. It invited demonic incursion to desecrate our plane of abiding. It corrupted the Web of Fate, and, in doing so, nearly resulted in the total annihilation of Elanthia as we know it. The need to defy the profane has never been greater. Together, as one hallowed body, we must champion the Word of our beloved Immortals and reject the wicked philosophies of those who would drag us all into physical and spiritual ruination.

The Inquisition was instated to eradicate Necromancy in all of its forms. However, all Guildsmen, particularly those of our Holy orders, have a duty to oppose this ever-growing and all-consuming menace. To that end, we invite all those who would aid this righteous cause to attend us for a lecture within Shard's Temple of Light. We will address the inherent dangers of Necromancy and emphasize recognizing and combating it, irregardless of how it presents itself. With knowledge and faith, we shall not be deceived, nor be at the mercy of evildoers and profligates. With the blessing of the Divine, we shall drive this vile art to its extinction!

A bloody ear is nailed to the bottom of one such notice, along with a hastily scrawled note. The note reads:

I would lend you my ear, but someone else's will have to do. We are certainly listening.

Another parchment note is pinned to the ear nailed to the notice. The note reads:

"Punch and pie served but BYOB. Come well dressed. See you there!"

A simple scrap of paper is pinned to the third piece of parchmant -

"Land burns, sea roils, libraries fall and children die. Cultists behind every bloodied pointing finger"

A long roll of inflated eel skin has been glued to the end of the simple scrap of parchment that is pinned to the third piece of parchment that is pinned to the ear that is nailed to the parchment notice. Letters have been dashed down its length in garish red capitals. They read: "No, You."
