Perune says, "No, I haven't had the pleasure."
Meggansera says, "I tend to be both antisocial and lazy, so its not a surprise."
Klines confidently says to Meggansera, "I am Klines Silvermist of the Silver Star and of Ilithi, First son of House Silvermist."
Perune says, "Antisocial is a perfectly good trait in many parts."
You say, "Safer that way most of the time."
Perune says, "My name is Perune Nocarrain, I am a Warrior Mage from Zoluren. Leth Deriel, specifically."

Mazrian says, "I was fighting up through the Keep with the group that went for Alret. But I haven't heard anything about how the other groups fared."
Navesi says to Raggard, "Ah... I owe you an apology."

Isharon says to Mazrian, "I was in the prince's party, serving as his shield -- though truth be told, he did not seem to need one."
You say, "He can certainly hold his own."
You say, "I was impressed."
Perune says, "The Prince spent most of his time rescuing people in the party."
Xixist says, "Indeed."
Isharon says, "A trained Warrior Mage seldom fails to impress."
Mazrian playfully says, "That's the truth."
Perune says, "Mordimer did a great job fighting alongside the Prince, also."
Isharon wryly says to Mazrian, "I hear you had a small role as well."

Vatyr says, "I imagine, being a Prince, he is left a lot of time to spend on his training, when he's not... signing royal decrees, or whatever it is Princes do."
Xixist asks, "So how did Alret raise the first time we killed him?"
Mazrian says, "I got a few licks in."
Isharon says, "I would like to hear more about the battle that raged farther away from the prince."
Truix quietly says to Navesi, "Thank you."
Raggard asks Navesi, "Apology? For?"
Mazrian says, "I'll trade you. We split off and headed up the stairs. Fought three big engagements before we got to Alret."
Navesi says to Raggard, "My naga... ah... when it was finished with Alret it attacked you. I'm sorry."
Navesi asks Raggard, "May I buy you a drink to make up for it?"
You say, "I don't know about fighting, but I was feeling a littled outmatched by the battle raging right at the enterence."
Mazrian says, "It was hard work but steady. We were lucky to have Karthor with us and a number of very capable paladins."
Xixist says, "Im not sure what group found the prisoners."
You say, "I did some dragging and then went exploring."
Raggard says to Navesi, "No worries my friend."
Mazrian says, "So while we had some casualties, most everyone fought through."
Klines says to Xixist, "I was part of that group. As was Perune."
Navesi says to Raggard, "Thank you for understanding."
Klines says to Xixist, "And Heartsfyre."
Zeteivek says, "Hm. Ilithi. It has been some time since I returned."
Raggard says, "It was crazy."

Isharon says to Mazrian, "Several times I battled until my body failed me. The enemy was strong and overwhelming at times, though I did not see any of the defining moments of the battle, such as the rescue of the prisoners or the slaying of Maelshyve's latest tool."
Miskton says to Zeteivek, "Not that you'd let the Elpalzi stop you."
Navesi says to Mazrian, "My naga was making short work of him, too."
Xixist says, "Alret kept kissing the face of my mamul."

Zeteivek says to Miskton, "There is no army standing that would. Or not standing, as the Elpalzi's go now."
Perune says to Isharon, "Your job was no less important."
Mazrian asks Isharon, "It seemed like the Prince's party got the worst of it?"
Hnot asks, "Hows that fancy sword of his appraise?"
Perune says, "And thank you for doing it."
Hnot asks, "Like a goofy tyrium cutlass?"
Isharon says to Mazrian, "Well, we were always outnumbered, and retreat was all but impossible."
Zeteivek says to Miskton, "I took my trophy from Alret."
Mazrian says to Hnot, "More or less, yeah. It's a good piece."
Isharon says to Perune, "I am happy to serve the cause of keeping demons in prison in some small way."
Hnot asks, "Kinda like this?"
Mazrian says to Isharon, "Very much a "fight until you die or drop" sort of thing."
Isharon says to Mazrian, "Which I did at least twice."
Miskton says to Zeteivek, "A nice memento."
Xixist says, "All I wanted was the ring ... I remember it so from Shartug."
Mazrian says, "Just about. Somewhat lighter."
Isharon says, "Fortunately the triage team was competent."

Zeteivek says to Mazrian, "Has there been word from your Prince, about addressing his men following their victory? I would like to see that the Scribe is still alive."
Mazrian says, "They were heroes, for sure."
Xixist says, "Ahhh."
Perune says to Isharon, "Perhaps this is more than I should say, but friends of the Prince were very concerned about him, which is why we asked you and the others to assist him."
Hnot says, "Most me, I was the best hero."
Xixist says, "Treasure it."
Navesi says, "I shall."
Mazrian says, "I haven't heard anything certain, but word is there is a celebration in the works."
Mazrian says, "And I imagine that's going to include an address."
Isharon says to Perune, "Where Maelshyve is involved, one is right to be concerned."
Perune says, "Indeed."
Mazrian says, "The prisoners were in pretty bad shape so giving them some time to recover might be for the best."
Klines whispers, "Planning to start us up?"
Felicini asks, "Did anyone remember to use the necklaces?"
Zeteivek says, "I must look for new armies to hunt, but it is good that Zoluren is safe. Even if the city is foul."
Cristalyn softly says, "I didn't..and I paid the price."
Navesi says, "I used mine. Not sure if it did any good."
Isharon rhetorically asks, "Who knows what other souls she might have found appetizing?"
Heartsfyre says, "Ran out of charges."
Miskton says, "Things were rather calmer on the ritual side of things, though we did come under a mental assault from some source. The amulets Trethom gave us were able to hold it off, however."
Xixist asks, "...use?"
Navesi says, "I heard the ritual was a fascinating experience, if taxing."
Raggard says, "Much respect to Mazrian for standing our my lifeless corpse until someone could drag me out."
Miskton says, "Still appears to have some magic to it as well."
Mazrian says, "It was the least I could do, really."
Mazrian dryly says, "I couldn't have retreated if I wanted to."

Zeteivek says, "The dungeons were too thick with Elpalzi. Retreating from one would've meant engaging another."
Hnot asks, "Theres a lich on an isle?"
Isharon says, "Somewhere in Qi."
Xixist says, "I ferget his name."

Xixist says, "The isle has fallen to necros."
Isharon says, "I believe it goes by the name Jeihrem."
Hnot asks, "Is there a way to get to it?"

Zeteivek says, "Victories, true victories, are few and far between. Best to drink now, while we wait for the next enemy."
Truix distractedly says to Hnot, "Apparently... though, most have been trying to avoid his little haven."
Isharon says, "A way but no good reason to."
Miskton asks you, "So what were those documents you found?"
Xixist asks, "What they say?"
You say, "Yes, I didn't want to interrupt the talk of island necros."
You say, "Anyway, I found these in the War Council Chambers."
Hnot says, "I might have to hire a boat captain later."

You say, "I scouted the rest of the keep as best I could. =."

Perune asks, "Can you tell us what the documents say?"
You say, "All books had been taken, so whatever arcane knowledge that was there was taken."
Xixist says, "Hmm."
Xixist says, "Alret loved to read."
You say, "The main bedroom was sparse and had nothing interesting that I could find."
Navesi says to Perune, "I took copies in the hopes that I might be able to translate. But I have yet to begin. Too much work to do on the paper."
You say, "I am worried."
Miskton says, "If the Elpalzi leaders were all fighting in the keep, I wonder where the books ended up."
You say, "I wish we could have found those texts and put them in a safe place."
Perune says, "To be honest, I heard a rumor from an old timer that Sidhlot actually scoured the library after the original war Sorrow had."
You say, "Who knows what kind of crazy demon summoning information was in there."
Kaelie says, "That wouldn't surprise me."
Felicini says, "Thats very possible."
You ask, "Anyone want to see if they can make sense of the documents?"
Miskton says, "Certainly."
Navesi says, "Let me put up Aura of Tongues. It may help."
Tarlof says, "I checked a library and a bed room, didn't find much but some paper work denoting some locations around Elanthia on a desk."
Perune says, "Hmm.. Elpalzi language."
Felicini asks, "Anyone know that?"
Zeteivek says, "I checked the dungeon cells. There were many small men."
Perune says to Klines, "Have a look."
You say, "I couldn't make hide or hair of it, but you know, it's not a tree or a critter so out of my primary wheel house."
Miskton says, "Well, if I were to guess, I'd say this map was probably being used for battle tactics, possibly in the final confrontation."
Navesi says, "I am ready and would like another look when possible."
Perune says, "It was likely the map from the visions, when Geva was displaying which supply areas in Crossing she wanted her units to hit."
Navesi says, "Hmm, the Elpalzi language is not becoming clear to me in the way the others do."
Hnot asks, "Does that aura of tongues thing work?"
Kaelie asks, "That may be because it's not one that we are used to?"
Perune asks you, "May I see the map?"
Mazrian asks, "Too alien, perhaps...or perhaps there is a scent component?"
Xixist says, "My bet is this is all now war momentos."
Zeteivek says, "They are a cursed race. Perhaps too is their language."
Navesi says, "Not so far. Perhaps it merely will take more time to attune to a new language."
You say, "That's what I'm thinking, but I also figure it's better to check."
Navesi says, "I already took copies from him before, so I will continue to study it."
Perune says, "Heh. Yup."
Isharon says, "Aura of Tongues was not devised with this particular language in mind."
Perune asks Mazrian, "Want to see?"
Xixist says, "I barely speak common .. this one is on all you."
Navesi says, "It was not, though I have heard rumors that it has worked for such things before."
Isharon asks Navesi, "Does it ever work on writing or just spoken words?"
Miskton asks you, "Not that I speak Elpalzi either, but may I take a look at the documents?"
Mazrian asks, "Official documents...what would the elpalzi need with something like that?"

You ask, "I missed when the prisoners were rescued. Were they in any state to give information?"
Aliselyn says to you, "Perhaps may I also see them? I have been trying to piece together their language."
Perune says, "They were barely in a state to move."
Hnot says, "I think the prince attended to debriefing the prisoners."
Tarlof says, "I had no idea we were even rescuing prisoners."
Perune says, "Took every ounce of their energy to get them to DiSilveron."
Zeteivek says to you, "Iazen said the others died. He expected me to torture him."
You ask, "How many were left after all these years?"
Klines says to you, "I think myself, Perune, and Heartsfyre can speak to that."
Perune says, "Heh, maybe 5 plus Iazen? Almost none."
You quietly say, "Terrible."
Klines asks, "I would be happy to relay what happened for our part. My cohort can fill in any blanks and then we could answer questions?"
Xixist says, "Poor Iazen."
Hnot says, "My wife ended up healing Iazen, but shes recouperating for a while after that."
Perune asks, "May I see the documents one more time?"
Aliselyn quietly says, "So few made it, but I am happy that those who were able to are now safe."
Klines asks you, "Would that be alright?"
You whisper to Perune, "want the map too"
You say to Klines, "Go for it/."
Xixist asks, "No treasure marks on that map?"
Klines says, "Before I tell the story, I would like to start with an apology. I'm not entirely sure to which of you I owe it, however, the fact is that I kept secrets from many people, from friends. I am not sorry for keeping those secrets. I am sorry if my behavior made any of you feel as though I did not trust you or thought less of you in some way."
Perune says, "Fraid not, just shows where she wanted units to hit."
Perune whispers, "Do you have any specific plans for these?"
Tarlof says to Klines, "I forgive you."
You whisper to Perune, "No, I was hoping someone would be dying to keep one or the other"
You whisper to Perune, "you need a trophy?"
Perune whispers, "No, I want them deciphered and I know who can do it."
Klines says, "With that said, about an andaen or so ago, I was approached by Lady Lilena. She required an escort back to Dirge. While escorting her, we came under direct and heavy attack by a force of Elpalzi who quite clearly were sent expressly for the purpose of ambushing us."
You whisper to Perune, "Awesome, lemme know what comes of it."
Perune whispers, "Lady Lilena has had direct contact with the loyal Elpalzi, surely she can have it deciphered."
Perune whispers, "Keep the map safe, Zoluren government may need it later."
You whisper to Navesi, "You wanto to keep the map? Perune is going to try and get the docs to Lilena."
Navesi whispers, "I'd be happy to safeguard it."
Klines says, "As we fought to keep Lady Lilena safe, we retreated to the Abandoned Clan near the Sunfell Hub and near the Reach. While we held our ground there, Lady Lilena was...attacked. Not physically, but in her mind. Geva, somehow, was attacking Lady Lilena's mind and actually spoke through her at one point."
Navesi whispers, "Perhaps I can show it to the lady also."
Zeteivek hesitantly asks, "Before she fell to Maelshyve, yes?"
Perune says, "I would say no, actually."
Klines says to Perune, "A fair point."
Navesi says, "It was while Geva still had a functioning body and mind, though."
Perune says, "Alret had already been digging at the Stones long before that point."
Klines says to Zeteivek, "Geva likely fell to Maelshyve a long time ago. But it happened before Geva's soul was consumed."
Zeteivek says, "I mean, before her soul was eaten. The alternative is much more frightening."
You whisper to Perune, "I'm passing it to Navesi."
Klines says, "Fortunately, Liurilias was part of the escort. He...linked our spirits together...to Lilena's. Through that link we were able to help ensure her soul was not taken by Maelshayve. It also had the incidental side effect of allowing us to share a vision with Lady Lilena."
Klines says, "Many of you may have read about the vision in the First Land Herald. However, for those that did not, we felt intense pain and mental rending. We all felt completley encompassed by an unnatural force."
Klines says, "The color green was quite prominent in the vision as well. As the vision continued, the pain increased and we saw brief glimpses of an Elpalzi woman's face, in front of a winged shape. Finally, we saw a triple tined claw and the vision ended. This is what first led us to suspect Maleshayve was involved."
Klines says, "After that event, something of a cabal was formed. At a given time, around five to six of us were part of it and met regularly with Lady Lilena to aid in her efforts to gather information about how we might breach the Keep."
Klines asks, "That was also around the time we were sworn to secrecy. It was vital to keep details of the plan away from Geva and Alret, yeah?"
You hear the voice of Jhien say, "E."
Perune says, "F."
Klines says, "So our group worked to make contact with Elpalzi who rejected what Geva and Alret were doing. Many of those Elpalzi paid by walking the Starry Road."
Isharon darkly says, "Better to walk the Starry Road than to burn in the Red Spiral."
Klines says, "Many of you likely heard me defending some of the Elpalzi on the gweth. This is why I defended them so passionately. I wish, at the time, I had been able to explain more of what I knew. But...I couldn't have."
Perune says to Isharon, "Or be consumed."
You ask, "Have we heard from the other factions of Elpalzi since the battle?"
You say, "The good ones I mean."
Klines says, "Over time, we started to work closely with Lord Grigoire as well. We went to Ilithi with him to investigate reports that the Elpalzi had sent a small infilitration force there and had recovered an artifact."
Zeteivek asks, "What remains of the Elpalzi, with Alret's forces shattered? Do they count themselves allied with Zoluren?"
Perune says to you, "The leadership may have, I haven't seen them."
Klines says to you, "I do not believe we have."
Isharon says, "One would think they returned to their homeland, but there's no guarantee they feel loyal to Zoluren just because we shared a common foe."
Klines says to Zeteivek, "With Alret defeated, I expect many if not all will wish to ally themselves with Zoluren. On the other hand, they may just wish to be left to their lands in peace."
Cristalyn softly asks, "And where are their lands? Where are they from?"
Klines says, "After a time, we finally made contact with an Elpalzi that was able to provide us the sphere used in the ritual. That sphere was vital to breaking the wards that protected the Keep."
Perune says, "Past the Reach, as I understand it."
Klines says, "Most of you are undoubtedly aware of what happened in the days before the attack on the Keep, with the explosion. So I will move along to what our group did during the attack."
Zeteivek says to Isharon, "A foe that was taking them as slaves, as I understand, and would not have been defeated if not for the forces of Zoluren, and your warriors. And a hunter who had nothing greater to hunt that day."
Xixist says, "There is still the encampment behind the reach of the older elpalzi that rejected Alrets moves."
Navesi says, "Apologies for the distraction everyone. I believe this cyclic may be necessary."
Isharon says to Zeteivek, "Perhaps, but there is also some historical enmity between the Elpalzi and Zoluren."
You hear the voice of Jhien say, "So much to be learned."
Klines says, "Our group moved out with the main attack force, following the Prince. However, we did not stay with hi---."
Zeteivek says, "I was unaware. I do not mind history much."
Tarlof asks, "Jhien why not come out from the shadows and be merry?"
Isharon says to Zeteivek, "It may 'only' result in a truce."
Xixist says, "Some remember."
Mazrian says, "He's gone."
You ask, "Who is he?"
Klines says, "As I was saying, we did not stay with the Prince for long."
Perune asks Tarlof, "You saw him, yeah?"
Isharon says, "A necromancer."
Truix dully says, "A necromancer."
You say, "Oh, whoops. I told him we were here. I didn't know."
Perune says, "Knowing is how you don't becoming a zombie, pal."
Isharon quietly says to you, "His mistake more than yours."
Klines says, "Aislynn, Perune, Heartsfyre, Fariden, and a couple others broke away from the main group shortly as the battle commenced. We...waited until the other groups had engaged many of the Elpalzi and we used that distraction to slip by and rapidly move to the dungeon and to the cells."
Klines says, "We did not abandon the Prince lightly. We had been tasked by Lady Lilena to focus specifically on rescuing the prisoners during the attack."
Klines says, "As we arrived at the cells, we found Iazen, the Court Scribe of Zoluren, still alive. With him he had several other prisoners, but far fewer than we had hoped. They were all in...poor...shape."
Xixist says, "We tore through every room they tried to hold."
Navesi says, "I am amazed Iazen made it this long, truly."
Zeteivek says to Klines, "I am glad you had showed then and there. I was not certain I could protect Iazen and all of his men against the Elpalzi long enough to escape."
Xixist says, "By we I mean with the Prince."
Isharon says, "Amazing that any endured those conditions for so long."
Kaelie says to Navesi, "It was rumored that they used a means of shifting to keep him alive ..."
Perune says, "Don't tell the poor soul I said this, but he was more of a husk than a man at this point."
Klines says, "We managed to prepare the prisoners to move and we covertly retreated with them from the Keep. We managed to make it to the North Trade Road without being detected. I ran ahead of the group and opened a moon gate to rapidly deliver Iazen and the other former prisoners back to the Manor."
Perune says, "I was honestly surprised he could even speak."
Aliselyn says, "Strong will."
Tarlof says, "Good men and women died."
Tarlof says, "As a distraction."
Zeteivek says to Perune, "Humans are stubborn this way. They often refuse to die."
Perune says, "I don't think anyone died as a distraction. The fight needed to happen regardless."
Klines says, "After we brought them back to the Manor, medics emerged from the gate to take charge of the prisoners and brought them onto the Manor grounds. After that, we returned to the battle."
Mordimer says, "Hello Everyone."
Navesi asks, "By the way, did anyone here see or know anyone who saw the assassins Tengh and Zayerg die?"
Tarlof says to Perune, "Those were the words used."
Klines says to Tarlof, "Good men and women, on both sides, have been dying for decades."
Navesi says to Klines, "Oh, apologies, I thought you were finished. Do go on."
Isharon says, "I was in the thick of the fight and saw little else through the fog of war."
Xixist says, "I senced Tength's death."
Klines says to Navesi, "Oh, no, I am done now, indeed."
Perune says to Tarlof, "Using a situation is far different from planning a situation. We really had no idea what would happen once we breached the keep."
Kaelie says, "I only sensed them. But glad to know they are well gone too."
Mazrian says, "I'd be interested to hear about the killing of them."
Navesi says to Mazrian, "At this point my guess is they were rooted out by Zoluren army rather than the adventurer units."
Navesi asks, "Does anyone else have a story of the battle they would like to share?"
