Greetings friends and neighbors!


We've lots of very exciting events coming up for you in Ilithi these coming weeks! With the Festival of the Guilds just around the corner, there's plenty of opportunity for entertainment before the shopping madness begins!


To start, this Saturday, May the 2nd, at 6pmE you'll find a gathering of Siegery enthusiasts gathered in the northeast corner of Sunbeam Circle (just east and southeast of Shard) for our biweekly tournament, which will not be stopping for Guildfest! There are loaner sets available if you don't have your own and lots of great prizes! Since this is a special month, we're adding some siegery sets to our already overflowing prize bag, so join us for a chance to win!

Following shortly at 9pmE also on Saturday will be the Ilithi Qualifier for the World Jousting Tournament, hosted by the Crystal Vanguard of Ilithi and The Lorethew Mentor Society! Spectators are certainly needed but entrants of every skill are encouraged to register for one of five available brackets. Make sure to pick up one of the gifts for your next piece of the official tournament barding collection, a handsome set of equestrian armor! We'll see you in the center of Sunbeam Circle!


Ilithi Spar Nights are still going strong with the new schedule, every other Tuesday at 9pmE. Fiesta with us this May the 5th for fights matched by skill and often team free-for-alls, depending on participation! Triage and spectators are similarly welcome to join us in the northeast corner of Sunbeam Circle.


We'll be in the Crossing Traders' Guild next Friday the 8th at 10pmE for a fast-paced fundraiser for the Crystal Vanguard! Here's a list of what's going up for auction, though we may still have a few last-minute additions. We hope to see you there!

Sunday, May 9th will be our pinnacle event as we celebrate the 8th Anniversary of the Crystal Vanguard, militia of Ilithi! Join our Illustrious Commander Rekave Diebo at 8:30pmE for drinks, games and gambling in the Silver Eye Inn, just a bit south of the North Gate of Shard!


At 10pmE the Anniversary Ball will begin in the Garden of Lights at the northeast corner of the base of the Great Tower. There will be gifts, food, drinks and dancing, as well as a fashion pageant! No acting or dancing will be required for you to showcase your artistic ensembles for a chance at some truly fabulous prizes: for the ladies' division we've a lovely rare dress (a demure white rosecloth dress dappled with cream and ivory), and for our gentlemen's division a very handsome weapon (a glaes two-handed sword), and for our couples' division an exquisite musical instrument (an icesteel piccolo inlaid with a variety of tiny orichalcum nomlas) and 100 platinum dokora.


Finally, I would like to invite scholars of every guild to join us for the next Visions Meeting on Friday, May the 15th at 9pmE. Join Court Seer Miskton Ramahk in the Aviary of the Moon Mage guild atop the Great Tower in Shard for a discussion on the premonitions that have been found within the web of fate and their relationships with events, future, past and present.
