Is this ever going to come back. I know that without the War there might seem to be a lacking need. However this gives a prefect opportunity to start training and becoming prepared for another threat, and hopefully end it before it becomes large.

There's nothing stopping anyone from forming up their own defense groups and training for the next encounter.

I thought there was some in-game disbanding of Militia by the Zoluren Princess Airlana, after prince Vorclaf died?

Good to know, thanks for the information.

Prince Vorclaf disbanded the standing OFFICIAL militia before he died. But unofficial organizations are free to group and train as they see fit. See: The Flying Company as a good example of that. (No, you don't have to be a merc company like them.)

White Rose has a defense team. We also do Triage and Rescue :D.

Trying to reform the local defense militia only to have it shut down by Zukir a week later was pretty damn discouraging for everyone involved.

Just saying. It's not a great way to keep people interested.

There were liberties being taken there that were well beyond anything resembling a government sanctioned operation. Hence the 'official' disbanding. They were all more than welcome, just as any other group, to continue on.

I'm curious which liberties you are referring to.

Unless it was just promoting people to rank without consulting the government first. It was hard to do that when none of them had logged on in months, and event emails were being ignored, but I can see that being perceived as a problem ICly.
