A Promise to the Depths (02/29) 02/23/2020 11:33 PM CST
The following missive has appeared in Guildhalls and Temples across Kermoria over the span of several days.

"In the aftermath of Maelshyve's death, the evil swamp Zaulfung yet pullulates with that which is most unholy. Scattered cultists and demonspawn lie in wait to ambush adventurers, while cursed beasts patrol the corrupt swampland and decayed ruins of the desecrated temple that once belonged to Urrem'tier so long ago. The duty falls upon us, guildsmen and women of Elanthia, to scour the Zaulfung of all traces of demonic corruption and to rejuvenate this wounded land so it may once again receive the blessing of the Immortals. The total obliteration of evil must occur before that which is pure may take root. To that end, we appeal to Drogor, Dark Lord of the Conquering Storm and Vengeful Sea. The cursed swamp and its unholy throng encroaches upon what is rightfully His; an insult that shall no longer be tolerated. Clerics will play a vital role in this sacred rite of conquest. That being said, all faithful followers of the Immortals shall be welcomed. Participants not of the clergy who wish to show their dedication to the destruction of the profane are encouraged to bring a trophy of conquest, either from a Necromantic creation of undeath or a demonic aberration (Maelshyvean or otherwise).

Though the cost of Drogor's blessing may be high, let us not shrink from His power, nor falter before His judgment. The anlas of decimation is upon us, and our victory over the demonic shall be complete. In Drogor's most hallowed name, our crusade against the last lingering embers of Maelshyve shall commence in full!

OOC INFORMATION:
Date: 2/29/2020 (Saturday)
Time: 8 PM EST
Location: Riverhaven, Stone Bridge (The Drogor altar outside the East gate of Riverhaven)

For any Clerics interested in participating, please send me a DM on Discord. (Whiteburn#5377)

All non-Cleric attendants who are interested may bring a trophy of conquest (particularly from Maelshyvean creatures and/or Necromantic creations) as an offering. The Ciriasa spines are a good example of something fitting, as are the skins of any creature found in the Zaulfung. Necromancer spell scrolls and the skins of creatures such as Germish'din are also fitting offerings.
