The Lady Bard Arkisyela, House of the Silk Strings and the Shoan a Sidelkuloa are pleased to announce the South Bridge Street Faire!
Following a brief closure, the bridge and its flanking arcades will be reopened to the public around 9pm EST on Friday, February 21st with an opening ceremony and parade followed by three days of shopping with merchants both old and new, games and tests of strength and skill, random acts of performance art and a whole lot of fried food and booze.
There's no telling what else will transpire during the weekend, so keep a look out for announcements and gweths throughout the faire. We hope to see you there!
Need a break from the merchant tents, games of chance and visits to Wyvern Mountain? Join us on Saturday, February 22nd at 9pm EST for the Totally Talented Competition, hosted by Theater Director Sesi Hart and deliberated over by a panel of five mystery judges.
Those interested in competing should contact Sesi no later than 8pm EST that evening to receive their place in the line-up.**
Now, for those curious, the talents performed do not necessarily need to be a song or dance. If you're skilled with magic, juggling, puppetry, cravat arranging or just showing off for the audience, give it your all! Competitors should use their best judgement when coming up with their showcase, but please no obscene language or imagery. Our audience will be a varied mishmash of cultures and age ranges, so let's keep it clean.
Entrants will take to the stage when announced and do their best to wow both the judges and the audience with their routine. They will have, at most, ten minutes with an ideal run time of around seven minutes or so per contestant. After all have performed, the judges will tally up their votes and three winners will be announced.
First, second and third place contestants will all receive a voucher for a general alteration as well 500, 250, and 100 platinum Dokoras respectively.
