I just transfered a home from the Riverhaven Area (Sand Castle Area) to Asery - Ranger Only area. I had a cozy grey fieldstone cottage and now have a grey fieldstone cabin. I wanted to change the exterior of my cabin, but can't find a shop yet. I've checked in Crossings and Leth and the merchants there only seem to do "free standing homes". I thought a CABIN was a free standing home. Also went to the North Roads Canvasary to the barn. I had checked prior to going and in their list they include CABINS. However, when I asked the clerk -- again I got that freestanding verbage.

Does anyone know where to go to get the exterior of a cabin changed and perhaps buy doors? I'm starting to thing my cabin is buggy. Thanks.

Per HOME HELP 4 Cabins are USUALLY Middle Rural. AND per HOME HELP 10, those exteriors are found in Theren.


Actually, HOME HELP 4 does say Cabins are Middle Rural. HOME HELP 10 actually says the stores for MIDDLE RURAL are found in Leth. Theren is Upper Class Rural. But I tried anyways and again it's the same old "freestanding messsage".

So according to HOME HELP 4 & HOME HELP 10, I should have been able to purchase an exterior in LETH -- that's Dove's place. That was the first place I tried and again it was the old "I am sorry, but I only work with freestanding homes. You 'll need to talk to a different merchant to get work done on your cabin."

So I am back to square one without a clue where to look for an exterior change to my cabin on Asery. I think I need help from a GM, because technically by HOME HELP information, I should have been able to get an exterior in Leth. I think my cabin is just plain buggy.


Any information would be helpful. Thank you.

Huldahs - Just wanted to thank you for all of your help. I really appreciated it! Turns out my house was buggy and didn't know what it was. ::grin:: Which is sorta ironic, considering I'm a ranga and never know where I am. Anyways, Zadares (sp?) helped me out, so a big thank you to him too!

I now have a happy house that looks just like I want it too. Woot!!!
