If you're speaking of this with respect to a Ranger bonus/penalty, did you try pacing? If you pace around like a large stalking mountain cat (or something like that), then it's a bonus. Normal pacing is no bonus/penalty, and pacing like a trapped animal is a negative penalty.

I remember when I was training up my Ranger, and got to the point where my Ranger bonus actually counted. I didn't remember seeing that when I circled, so I just continued my life as if it wasn't counting yet...Then, just for grins and giggles, I hid and howled...I brayed like a trapped milk cow, in front of all my Ranger friends, who in turn rolled on the floor laughing :grin:

I spent the night in the treehouse, and it was finally better in the morning...so now I know to pace everywhere I go if I don't know what the bonus is.
