Modas/Nightstalkers in the Pejek Bog 10/09/2007 08:06 AM CDT

Hello,

I was just wondering if somebody can check the gen. rate on these critters. They seem to spawn at 2 or 2.5 per hunter. Normally this wouldn't be a problem except I hardly ever see any other folks in there. The hunting area is fairly large so there are rarely more than a single moda or unyn in a room, even if I dance with one for a good while. This makes multi training a bit problematic too. I really like the area and the critters. I just wish the hunting was a bit more lively.

I hunt there regularly and like the gen. You've just got to actually hunt down your prey rather than stand around scratching your...back. Also, at times I've found no modas or unyns inside the gate, but you can also check the three rooms outside the gate, as they tend to spawn there as well.

Yeah, I've run many laps in there hunting down critters. I still say the gen rate is low for the amount of hunters in there. It is a nice bonus though to be heading back to town and find a couple between the gate and the brook.

There's something seriously wrong if you think the gen in that area is remotely decent. Not everything should swarm, but you should be able to find 2 critters in a room in < 2 min of wandering around, and I've never experienced that in modas.

Then again, I'm usually hunting with someone with me, so the gen is a bit better than hunting alone. Still, moving around the entire area to hunt the critters works best. Definitely not a place to work multi effectively though.
