I went into test and typed respec and found out that we get 1 try and if I try to type respec help or type respec anything, I will respec.

Could we get an option to reverse respec a couple of times? Or have a respec preview and then a confirm if we like the respec?

Do you mean that you want the way to go back to the stats you had before you RESPEC'd? That's not really something we have a good way of doing, unfortunately.
