Paladin Learning Thievery in Combat 01/10/2013 05:07 PM CST
I started learning Thievery while fighting Warklins earlier with my Paladin in Plat. I wasn't able to pin down what exactly was causing it.

Courage and HOW were up.
Brawling.
Wearing 3 armors Plate, Brig and Light.

It seemed that i was only learning Thievery while Parrying. Although i was blocking everything with my shield so maybe it was because i was taking hit damage while parrying.

Whatever the cause, i'd appreciate if a GM could wipe the stealing ranks for me. This is Plat not Test and the guild are already telling me to go to Theren to repent!

Would love if this would happen to my Thief :)

I wonder if this is due to Warklin's web attack... Hmm.

This was caused by the old escaping skill still being taught by being webbed - unfortunately for Paladins, its now teaching Thievery. Hopefully a fix will be quick but thanks to Zadraes for getting rid of that unwanted EXP for me.

IIRC, there's nothing bad about paladins knowing Thievery in 3.0.

Actively stealing is still bad, but the concept of understanding Thievery isn't.

The teeth lands a solid (5/23) hit that pokes the teeth into Turul's rear end (more embarrassing than painful!).

if the guild is telling him to go to theren and repent, it might be buggy then.
