What will take Mech's place in determining Shifting ability?

This came up in the skills folder during a discussion about how the mech split is going to work... I just did a quick scan of the topic headers here and didn't see anything relevant to that.

hmm, I could see it in Engineering too. Shaping discipline to be precise ( I think that's the one that life-sculpting would fall under). tough one to call either way though.

Mech is going to be removed from the shift contest. No crafting skills will be in the shift contest going forward.

Yeah it wouldn't make sense to use any of the new crafting skills... but my original question still stands:

What is going to replace the role currently played by Mech? I guess the real question is, what will go into determining shifting ability?
