Stormfront - Sound not working 07/14/2019 05:44 PM CDT

I'm not sure what happened but a day or two ago, all of my sounds stopped working.

I checked that sounds are turned on in the Options->Settings->Sound menu option. I've made sure that the Play Sounds option is checked when I right click on each of the windows I have open.

I can't even listen to sounds when I try to add them to a highlight string.

The only thing I've done is recently I upgraded to a newer version of win10 that was required to try out the new windows terminal preview, and that was a week ago.

Does anyone have suggestions?

Did you check your SOUND settings in Win10 to ensure it is set to speakers? I upgraded my Surface a few days ago and I'm not experiencing this problem. I'll see what I can research up to help.

Sounds work in the rest of windows. I even uninstalled the sound card drivers and let them reinstall just to be sure.

Thanks for the idea Rhadyn. Here's where the issue was in case anyone else runs into it.

Right click on the speaker icon in the system tray and select Open Volume Mixer.
