There is no noun in Pronunciation.

Sorry, just had to. Anyway, one of my favorite things about Simucon was asking the players how they pronounced their character's names. It was fun in a super-geek kind of way.

Spanish and portuguese for me. I always say oo-Koo and hard C for the Cael's in my head.

Some of us chat on vent and other stuff, and it comes up. Or reuse our names in other games (like wow, eve, etc), where vent is more common, so comes up over there. Can be interesting when 4 different people say it 4 different ways.

Friend of mine held a poll on AIM with a couple of her buddies. Asked them how they pronounced her character name. Came out of that with about 5 different pronunciations. Turns out I was pronouncing her name wrong. Heh. Ehh well.

EDIT: Wanted to reply and say Caraamon is very right about that, too.

Also said without instead of with up there so fixed. >.>;
