RPA troubles 11/09/2016 06:06 PM CST

I just had a great ig RP experience with Codiax and wanted to send an RPA award but when I type rpa give Codiax 5 I see

You don't see a "Codiax".

Am I doing RPA rewards wrong?

Does the recipient have to be in the same room? That seems strange because I've wanted to give some gweth interactions RPA awards also but I've run into the same issue.

I think you have to be in the same room for RPA give, but for RPA bestow (if you're part of the PIRP system) you can be anywhere.

Uzmam! The Chairman will NOT be pleased to know you're trying to build outside of approved zones. I'd hate for you to be charged the taxes needed to have this place re-zoned. Head for the manor if you're feeling creative.

That is correct unless something has changed recently.

You are not currently a participant in the PIRP system, meaning you are unable to use the RPA PIRP command as you do not receive points to give other players. You can receive rp points from other players, however.

That's the only information about the PIRP system. I don't want to use my RPA points for my benefit I want to give them to people that make playing the game better when I'm logged in.

How do I join the PIRP system? Why can't I give away what someone else thinks I've earned? Is there any more information about the PIRP system?

Thank you. Why does it take 50 times an RPA1 award to be able to give other characters any points? I should be able to give at least an RPA1 award to anyone every 30 days. How long does it actually last? Is there a cogent argument for restricting 5 RPA points from a character if the bestower has RPA points?

Here is how it works with RPA GIVE <PERSON> <NUMBER>:

If you have at least 50 "Current RP points received," you can give a max of 20 points to a particular player in the same room per 1 real hour. So, if Bob and Cindy are in a room with you, you can give Bob 20 points and Cindy 20 points if you have minimum 70 points to support it. The first 20 points will drop you to 50 remaining and the second will dip you under to 30 remaining. At that point, you will need to accumulate 20 more to be able to give points away. You need to wait 1 hour to give either of them more points, but if you still have at least 50 points, you can give up to 20 to any other character(s) before that 1 hour timer starts for them, as well.
