Ranik's Maps should be working again on elanthipedia.
I had to use an archived version of the maps dating back to January of 2012 so most maps should be up to date, although there may be a few lost pieces of information here and there. The only one I know of for sure is Map31d, since there was an update done in April of this year that I cannot find an archived version of anywhere. If anyone happens to know who made the update, could you please contact them and have them upload it again? https://elanthipedia.play.net/mediawiki/index.php/File:Map31d.gif
Alos, please let me know if there are any maps that didn't get fixed at all: https://elanthipedia.play.net/mediawiki/index.php/User_talk:ABSOLON
Thanks, and happy exploring!

Thank you Caraamon, Absolam, Solomon and everyone else who works on Elanthipedia. Much love and it is very much appreciated. I wish I had the money and means to buy you all crates of beer or choice of beverage. But all I can do is this ::sends you big e-hugs::

Ooooh Absalon (sorry I spelled your name wrong on the previous post) I love the way the ranger spell tree looks.
Now would you mind linking each spell to a page that tells about it please? When I click on a spell, all I get is a nifty but smaller version of the image.
If you would do that, it would be so helpful as some of our ranger spells got nerfed, spiffied up.
Thanks in advance (don't kill me in game ok?)

Hey thanks. I was having to resort to very old maps off google images. Nice to have the good maps back.

Crossing weapon store

Any chance someone can add a light and heavy thrown to the store? It would be great if the general store sold a weapon strap and belt knife.

Don't forget, the veteran also lets you trade in weapons, and has an alright selection.

You can also just lob your melee weapons. That trains well for at least the first couple hundred ranks.
The lack of a weapon strap in the Crossing is stupid annoying though.

Foraged rocks will work for LT for 100ish ranks. After that they slow down in efficacy.
Foraged logs will work well for HT, but you need 20 strength (1/2 the weight of the item for non-weapon thrown), plus they're heavy.
Arthe does have short hunting spears for sale already, as well.
I don't disagree, I think the entire store system needs an overhaul. The inability to buy a 1-handed heavy blunt in Crossing is obnoxious.

yeah I do use the log/rock.
End of the day it would be nice if the crossing weapons store and the armor store got a refreshment.

For weapon strap you can make one with pretty much no skill in outfitting craft. By the time you finish it will cost you a couple of gold, but since quality really doesn't matter for a weapon strap you can just get a crafting book and the necessary equipment and throw one together. You don't even really need the extra tailoring tools that correct for errors...just a tailoring book, scissors, needle, thread and cloth
