Happy Funday Friday!
For today's update I've made the following changes to Ranger Companions:
1) They'll no longer die from hunger or neglect. Instead they'll go on a moderate cooldown, based on the ranger's Instinct ranks.
2) They won't age to 'senile' anymore, instead they'll stay at "full-grown" once they reach it, allowing rangers to keep the same companion indefinitely if they'd like.
3) The amount of time required to age through their states ("baby"->"young"->"full-grown") has been sped up by a large amount.
4) The mechanic for releasing a companion back to the guild (used to get rid of "senile" companions) has been extended to include "full-grown" if the ranger would still like to roleplay that process out and a confirmation check has been added.
These updates are live in all instances, enjoy!
