How to use Gravatars (because it may not be immediately obvious to those who have never used them):

1. Using the above URL, log into your Gravatar account or create a new account.

2. If you made a new account, activate your account by clicking the link in the registration e-mail.

3. Add your Play.net e-mail address to your Gravatar account. (Every Play.net account has one; mail sent to your Play.net address is forwarded to your account's registered e-mail address. You can get your address by clicking the "Email Author" link next to one of your posts.)

4. Validate that e-mail address by clicking the link in the registration e-mail.

5. Upload the image that you want to use by clicking the "add a new image" link.

6. If you want to use less than the whole image, use the crop tool to select the portion you want to use.

7. Click the appropriate rating.

8. Select the e-mail address(es) you want this image to be associated with.

Within a few minutes, all of your Play.net posts should automatically start using your new Gravatar. (You may need to clear your browser's cache to see the new avatar.)

Mine forwarded fine, did you check spam/junk? The confusion for me came because I didn't see it listed in my PROFILE avatar settings, so I thought it didn't take. But it did!
