Dictionaries in general are declining in quality, but the last time I looked into it, The Oxford American College Dictionary had less of a descriptive bent (at least with regard to some of the usage errors listed earlier).

And thankfully, the 4 other dictionaries I checked (including the OED) all say both are correct.
