You know what's funny? I've gotten so used to ignoring the login spam after years of playing that even now after being away for so long I didn't notice that was in there.

It isn't a link in Genie, but I think that's more to do with the FE than anything on DR's side.

What prompted my post was the fresh memory of another game I tried before coming back to DR that has a default-on system that nags once several seconds after login in a very noticeable way. I think it might also nag at other times, but it wasn't obtrusive or anything of the sort. And it worked. The current system in DR has no links for Genie users (no clue on other FEs) and the only reminder is shown once during login and buried.

Perhaps delay the reminder a bit, similar to how the login experience drain is delayed? I definitely always notice THAT messaging.

Regardless I'm going to poke around with at least some sort of script to nag myself personally, probably using $gametime to give it a 12 hour cooldown. I feel like it would be better as a plugin but I've never done one of those so I have no idea. EXPERIMENT TIME!

Heh, it also doesn't work in Genie unless you have links turned on and that gets very laggy after a while. I.e. one of the few things SF does better than Genie. (I know! Who knew?!)

I had no idea that was there, since I skim over it every time. I had to actually scroll up to make sure I didn't have it squelched.
