Goblins And Their Kin 09/22/2016 01:55 AM CDT
Are Goblins and Orcs the same?

Are there other creatures in game that are related to / the same goblins but have a different name?

tl:dr - no.

Description
Small, thankfully unidentifiable black creatures crawl around in the orc bandit's greasy grey hair. With fastidious personal habits of a peccary in a mud-pit, the bandit stops from time to time to pick one of the insects off her scalp and pop it into her mouth, smacking her lips greedily as she chews. Standing no more than a hand's width higher than the average human, the bandit's musculature is considerably more dense, with thick bones and an almost ape-like curve to its skull.
A red bear paw has been tattooed on her shoulder, identifying her as a member of the red bear clan of orcs.

RECALL Information
Goblins can be found throughout Elanthia, from the fields west of Crossing to the frozen slopes of Aesry Surlaenis'a. The most common, and least dangerous, are the field and wildland goblins, although even these can be dangerous in great numbers.
Goblins are also known to produce great leaders and proficient soldiers. Goblin warriors, berserkers, archers, mercenaries, chieftains, warlords, and even princes have been known to occasionally join their lesser kin in battle.

Description
Standing on two legs, the field goblin is somewhat small, like a Dwarf. It looks passive but wary.

Thank you.

Had recently read that Tolkien had created Orc as an alternative word to what he originally considered Goblins. Thought it might carry over.
