Bone Wyvern skins 04/26/2015 04:16 PM CDT

So with 990 skinning I can't arrange them for bone. I'm ok with that.

But could you please have bone added in to the random SKIN chance? They produce nothing but claws unless arranged for bone specifically.

Might the carving technique Basic Bone Collecting help with that?

Basic Bone Collecting
Grants the ability to use ARRANGE ALL when skinning. This training will enhance your ability to arrange all of a corpse for skinning, and improve the quality of materials harvested.

I didn't think about that. Would that technique remove the difficulty modifier for arranging for bone?

IIRC, you don't need any tech for it.

ARRANGE [creature] INFO - Identify how a creature can be arranged.
ARRANGE [creature] - Attempt to randomly arrange the critter for something.
ARRANGE [creature] for [skin/part/bone] - Arrange for the material specified.

Uzmam! The Chairman will NOT be pleased to know you're trying to build outside of approved zones. I'd hate for you to be charged the taxes needed to have this place re-zoned. Head for the manor if you're feeling creative.

Yeah. And a plain ol' no arrange >SKIN should give you random bone/skin/part/whatever the critter has. Which bone wyverns aren't doing for some reason.

I think the tech just unlocks arrange all. My understanding is that in the long run each different arrange all will also do something like bonus your ability to successfully skin something for bone, or a skin, or a part, etc.
